New Beginnings in Hazel Green: Capturing Redstone Federal Credit Union's Latest Branch

We were honored to collaborate with Nola | Van Peursem Architects to photograph the newest Redstone Federal Credit Union location in Hazel Green, Alabama. As a company that values community, innovation, and thoughtful design, it was a privilege to document a space that embodies all three.

Redstone Federal Credit Union’s newest branch—located at 14395 US Hwy 231, directly across from Hazel Green High School—is more than just a financial center. At 5,400 square feet, the building represents a growing commitment to serve the people of Hazel Green with tools for financial success, right in the heart of their community.

“We are thrilled to open this new branch in a community that’s seeing such exciting growth,” said President/CEO Joe Newberry. Redstone, which serves more than 813,000 members with $7.8 billion in assets, built the Hazel Green branch in response to increased demand and to complement its existing student-run branch at Hazel Green High School.

This project was particularly rewarding, not only because of the architectural detail and purpose-driven design, but because it reflects Redstone’s dedication to empowering families, neighbors, and future generations.

Thank you again to Nola | Van Peursem Architects and Redstone Federal Credit Union for the opportunity to capture this meaningful addition to the community. We love celebrating spaces that bring people together—and this one certainly does just that.
